Do you guys think these Bernhard Willhelm slippers would go well with a three-piece Canali suit for more formal occasions?

Still on the Slippers theme.

Michael Bastian and Antonio Ciongoli (formerly MB's right hand man) wear them well in a casual, summer way (I know others may disagree).

Also for any fellow Michael Bastian fans (looking at you thebrownman) here are a couple of Instagrams worth following: http://instagram.com/bastiangirl / http://instagram.com/mbastiannyc/

Love this for the weekend.

I am a Bastian fan also for the most part, thanks for the links.

I must admit around the house that like GF, I too am prone to the UGG's around the house (never outside) in winter with thick wool hiking socks. Having an older country house and living 550m above sea level means things get a little chilly here in winter, so we dress for warmth at home more than style. Summer, we have the opposite problem so I'm usually barefoot.

For all the Canberra members, I'm half excited to announce that all going well we will soon have a retail presence in the capital in a shop called the CBR Collective. For those that haven't heard of it, CBR collective is a shop set up specifically to stock local designers/brands from all areas of fashion (womens/casual/mens etc) only and give them the necessary exposure to grow and be noticed a bit more. It's in the Canberra Centre on the top level near the RM Williams store.

I'll be meeting with the store manager tomorrow to hopefully finalise a few things. This should be good for us leading in to fathers day and then xmas.

I'll leave that to you comrade. I've got grey socks with a blue windowpane on today, which is quite exciting enough for me!

Very tempted by the canvas but even this price is too much for me.....

Suit Shop for most my stuff but Ill still be getting a few special pieces from PJ - sometimes for an odd jacket I like his even lighter unstructured naples & rome options

These are what im considering next...

1) navy chalk stripe double breasted with peak lapels. Unsure if I will get roped or soft shoulders this time but probably jetted hip pockets and welt chest. Trousers with side adjusters, button fly and 2inch cuff

2) Considering a chocolate brown cotton with notch lapels 2.5button and flaps. Might try a pleat in my trousers on these. Trousers with side adjusters, button fly and 2inch cuff. Unsure if I should go our standard or wide lapels yet,

Warning: Spoiler! Inspiration (Click to show)

3) Light grey unstructured jacket from PJ. Still weighing up cloth options here.

Romp-

I'd go the brown as you could wear it easily as separates; and since spring is coming up why not? (brown is one of my favourite colours so yeah....kinda biased) Wider lapels cuz why the hell not :P

Would go with the chalkstripe as second as they are just so badass!

Lastly the grey, as I only like grey SC in herringbone patterns; preferably tweed and even then I think they look best on an older men!
