Just hit me: where's PinkSocks?

X-post. A few quick pics of some of the 25 or so new Macclesfields that will be added over the next few days.

^^ Those are quite lovely. Well chosen.

Are the pleats likely to be one of those tweaks? They look really nice, but I'm more of a flat-front guy.

Does that mean 10-12? Ie there may be a 10.5 in there somewhere? wink.gif

Unfortunately not. I was on the hunt for 11's, but he said he only has 10 and 12 in the wingtip and 12 in the blucher, or some combination thereof. Might be worth a call just in case though.

I am here, just been a little busy of late so no time to post my usual ramblings useful comments.

Will get back into a bit more soon....I am keeping up with the commentary.

The Mr Porter sale is very tempting, as are HC's new ties.

Whilst in Sydney for work last week I picked up a Macclesfield print navy tie and a pair of grey flannels from Herringbone ($45 and $97 respectively, too cheap to pass up).

Love the pink socks Nabil. I always say that they can brighten your day. For example, if you are in a boring meeting, you can look down and think "Well, fuck it, I am rocking pink socks, all is well."

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Suit: Canali cashmere lana (90% wool/10% cashmere)
Shirt: Appana Sydney
Tie: Joe Black silk knit
Pocket square: JM Lewin
Belt: Canali
Shoes: Farage

The actual suit colour is a little darker than in the photos.

To say I am pleased with this suit would be something of an understatement. Unlike the suit itself.
Nice fabric, though you might want to take the pants up an inch or five.

Did you get this from the Canali store in Sydney? Off the rack or made to measure?

I think I saw a suit with that fabric on a mannequin when I was Sydney last month. It looked brilliant.

Ordered from Wiggle 16 days ago and still hasn't arrived. Dissapointingly out of character for them - Sister is also a little upset as she wants her new running shoes.

Probably not, but 1 maybe flat front. I did get a flat front sample also in a grey serge fabric, very nice also. The pleats have a bit more room of course and a higher rise but they are still slim enough while creating a nice line. They fit me perfectly actually. Once hemmed I'll get some fit pics done.

Jason - would you consider getting a '4 season' worsted like HY has?

Dear Jason,

Make my pant-dreams come true.

Love,
