It has. Mind you, I've pretty much dressed the same since I got these clothes from 2008-11. I get cold, man!

He took off so well he galloped out of range of his own troops and into enemy lines!

Long time lurker.

Picking up my P Johnson wedding tux & shirt soon, can't wait.

Also got a set of Albert Thurston braces and Le Noeud Papillion bow tie.

Will hopefully remember to post some pics.

Edit: Also does anyone have any advice regarding what to wear under the shirt as I don't want to freeze my nuts off.

If I wear a singlet under I was thinking grey because I find you see it less than a white one.

For Henry Carter today.

I could actually do a very similar look, with my Christian Kimber boots, Ede and Ravenscroft light grey flannel suit and Drakes grey cashmere tie. It is a very wintery look, maybe a little too matchy for me.

Pretty sure this chap works for Brunello Cucinelli (just in case anyone is interested).

I was never that keen on the Papillion gear. Last few I bought from these guys - highly recommended (from me at least) http://www.thecordialchurchman.com/

r.e. singlet - wear a three piece, problem solved!

Agree with your sentiments a burgundy or forest green tie would have worked better IMO

Interesting discussions. I really like it in real life which is of course the best litmus test, and the matching was purposeful of course. I'm usually pretty honest with myself on the times I have a miss and agree It would have worked well with both the green and maroon cashmere knits but I wore a green tie yesterday and the maroon just lost out. Would have worked well with white shirt like above also.

I contacted thecordialchurchman.com but they never got back to me, it also just so happened that Le Noeud Papillion had 40% off the bow tie I was after..

I really don't like 3 piece tuxedos
