I'm really after a pale blue, single cuffed shirt at a decent price. I cannot for the life of me though find one at mj bale, CT, H&H or tm lewin.

I'm surprised that you can't find one at Charles Tyrwhitt, as they've got quite a wide selection.

CT shirts aren't fantastic, but they're perfectly serviceable and better than pretty much all of the business shirts sold in DJs and Myers.

They offer pretty much all of their shirts with an option of either a French cuff or a single, button cuff.

Here are a few options from the CT website, all of which are available with a single, button cuff:

The above are all slim-fit. I know that CT also offer a smaller variety of shirts in an even more fitted cut, and they also have a rather baggy, "classic" cut.

The silk road's nice, the collar is a bit on the small 'new town hipster in a roger David suit' side.

I've been bought over by Ascot Chang's shirts. These guys know what they're doing. Speaking of which, incidentally, the 3 new shirts I ordered on April 15 just arrived today, in the mail.

And their service -- where do I begin. My last interaction with them is a story you'll only believe if you heard it in person.

Agree they don't cost the earth and are good value and do have a very good range to choose from.

On the winter tip, MJ Bale seem to have reduced their V necks to $99 from $199. Made in Italy. I don't have any experience with them myself.

There are some options from TCNY, too: http://www.tcny.com.hk/collection/category.aspx?id=6&name=Sweaters+and+Outerwear

I'm looking for a chunky cardigan with a nice hefty shawl collar in navy for this winter. Basically the one below, but in navy. Any ideas?

I just bought a vintage wool negro Yankees team ball cap. My sense of cultural identity is so confused right now. I know this is SW&D related, if at all relevant, but the Aus Members thread is the only place I post smile.gif

I picked up one very similar, by Ralph Lauren in a faded blue, last season though.

How about SNS herning? Try Polo or RRL. I believe they might have some in store or online.

Do you mean this one? It's nice but a bit expensive.

This is exactly what I am after but, ahem, price...

NB I am looking for wool, not cotton, and not cashmere (too expensive...)

*edit CT has a reasonably priced one too:

In my experience their fits are a bit baggy though (on the V necks at least).
