I picked up one of those Uniqlo navy linen jackets on my way through Singapore to Europe and I love it, especially for the princely sum of S$120 or whatever I paid for it (half price sale).
You can get the Richard James designed Austin Reed one for half that price. Or we can group buy the Uniqlo linen one for half of that price each.

How far apart are those options in price? I would've thought the RMs would be a lot more expensive...

I did the same earlier in the year. It cost me $83 AUD, and I picked mine up in Malaysia. I was in two minds about getting it going into winter here, but I'm sure I'll pull it once the weather warms up again.

Should be ~double (or more), depending one where you get the RMs.

I mihgt be ordering from Uniqlo China via some mail forwarding service for the navy linen jacket. Sizing is you should size up 1 from western sizing and that Asian sleeves are about 1 inch shorter. Anyone interested in risking it with me?

Very soft on the foot, but sturdier longer wearing leather. They look and fit great, but go down in width eg if G go F.
