Picked up some Creed GIT from DJs just a couple days ago. Unfortunately didn't know about the Harrolds sale. I might pop by Harrolds during my lunch break tomorrow and see what pricing is like. Better still, does anyone here know? If tempting enough, might have to grab another flask, but this time, Bois du Portugal or Original Vetiver (god I love this scent).

I believe the Harrods sale does not include fragrances.

It does

$70 for a haircut?! Forget blowdry, I want a blowjob from one of the apprentices for that price!
I get mine from Asian place on Lonsdale St for $45 for wash massage cut dry and style, and the ladies totally dig it every time... until I start talking everytime.

Are they Corgi? Where did you get them (I know socks stalking, dear, oh dear)? How do you find Corgi socks - they often look too thick to me?

Nabil, we do have the same socks! I bought these overseas, Pink Socks. I think in England, but I can't remember, I know I've had them for a long, long time.

Thanks TBM. I have searched for them but could only find navy with pink heel and toe. Not that I really need any new socks but will keep my eyes peeled for these ones and see if the family might be able to send my some from the UK for a treat (if not I will find them when I return home for Christmas).

Anyway, great socks.

I know Double Monk stocks Corgi socks so you may want to check if they have this particular pair, PS.

I didn't check Creed pricing at the Sydney store, but Penhaligons was in the $85 mark at 1/2 off. (Oddly the boxes weren't labelled and one of Harrold's many glamorously foreign female assistants had to oblige.)

I checked this morning - the toes on mine are light blue, not pink - so they're not exactly similar. Close, but no cigar.

I got this pair of Corgi from Mr Porter. They were 50% off when I got them. I like them, actually. Not too thick (this particular pair, which was in their summer stock) - but had this sort of 'lush' feel to it. holds up quite well.

I am wearing navy with pink heel and toes today, haha!

Suggestions? Take to both with the same saphir colour?

I'd suggest embracing the slight mismatch. To quote John Ruskin - “To banish imperfection is to destroy expression, to check exertion, to paralyze vitality.”

Howlong does this sale last for?

Trouble with that approach could be that you'll get polish on your pants rubbing off from your belt.

Maybe leave the belt in the sun? I've heard that can work. Just make sure you condition it so you don't cook the leather.

So the fragrances are on half off? Going to pop into the store at lunch time today to check this out!

I must confess that I only have three leather belts - a sort of mid-brown one leather belt that I have been wearing for the past 19 years, so it has darkened a bit, a chocolate brown suede belt, and a black leather belt.

The brown leather belt gets the most use, and I wear it with all sorts of different shoes - burgundy, tan, chestnut, beechnut (which is the closest match), dark brown and so on.

So, my advice would be not to bother about trying to match the colour. It's not worth the trouble and no-one will notice at all.
