$22 is correct.
Why pay that when even for a single jar the cost is $20 from overseas and more realistically people would be purchasing multiple jars to get all the colours they need and in that case the price comes down a little bit further from the online guys.
It's not about the $2, it's about the fact that I believe they don't need to charge that extra amount.
I really do not understand this.
The price difference between $22 and $20 could just be GST.
I would understand it a bit more if the price difference is between $22 and $11.
Even so, are you really going to be buying ten jars to save $100?
I would hazard a guess that the saving is more like $4 to $5 per jar, at most.
Now, if only someone at DM would just pick up the phone....

Hey guys, apart from this thread, what other threads do you follow on SF?
I pretty much only look at this one, the affiliate threads of people on here (Jason, for example) and that's about it. Haven't branched out into other ones. Any recommendations for interesting reads/diverse opinions?

I participate in the 2013 Reading Challenge thread and the Scent/Fragrance of the Day Tgread (to my ocnsiderable cost).
I occasionally look in on the Cufflink of the Day thread, since it's my baby.
I used to go to AFPOS and drool, but that's been squirrelled now. I've never bother with the DT, CEsspit and all those other dives where the senior members around here make there reps by posting enfless drivel.
The info:wanking ratio here is the best in all of StyleForum, so there is no real need to go anywhere else.

^not too keen on the square stitch either but I quite like the look of the one on the top row that's 2nd from the left.
Anyone own a Jpress shaggy dog? And how did you go sizing wise?
Edit: Looking for some dress pants in Melbourne with good bang for buck and in wool or a sleeker cotton
Thanks in advance!
Maybe the Harrolds 50% off sale this week? They'll lower the prices from outrageous to extortionate for two days.
Yes. I was meaning to tell Nabil and other members to hold off on the Penhaligon's until the sale.
I agree on extortionate. Artioli shoes for $2400??
And BTW, I did some reading on perfumes over the last week. It turns out that Acqua Di Gio was designed by two perfumers. Also turns out that the same perfumers did Leau Dissey by Issey Miyake and CKOne. No wonder they all smelled the same!
Having said that, the same two perfumers also did M7 by YSL, which appears to have received some good reviews. Anyone had a sniff of M7? (no wisecracks about Sydney traffic jams, please)
Have tried M7, didn't purchase it at the time because it gave me a slight headache. Long lasting (on my skin at least), would be good for the colder months if you like it.
Edit: Is it still available? Remember reading on fragrantica that it was disconinued (maybe I am wrong).
Best to get from amazon - buy more than you need as you will regret not getting an extra 1 or 2 down the road.
i got the woodlore ones from there and id get more again, they fit fine in my Loakes (chukka and oxford on 026 last), and AE's strands
good luck
I have been buying the shoestripes laces from double monk. They are excellent.
I bought my woodlores when i was in the US for like $11 at century 21 and Nordstrom Rack.

If any of you visit the store during sale. Please provide some detailed sale info.

Yessir, I do have a pair of penny loafers. I got them for a song at the Edward Green factory store in Northampton (Go bananas: http://bit.ly/WQF9im).
The Florence outlets are great for Car Shoe / Tod's driving shoes.
"Oh. Lord." is correct. It pains me to see that pic now because I wont have time to go out to Northampton. But I do think the price might be ok to buy something online... we'll see.
I do think Ill pick up a cheap pair of car shoes in Florence though for sure.
Big problem (?) is I wont be able to spend much time shopping while over there: I could see myself soaking up a full day easily and not buy something/ not be happy.
Florence is sounding very good though.

Its funny, Ive spent more on new clothes over the past 12 months then (I think) I have in all my previous years added together. Id certainly have enough saved for my new car by now. I did have a lot of catching up to do though, and I still have barely scratched the surface .
Lookin' tha shit in my old commy wagon though ;)

you can check out www.andytom.com for car shoes unless you are wedded to the brand. They are made by ex-Tod's staff and pretty much identical except only $199 a pair.
Cheers
