That said, I sent a pair back to epaulet myself last week and it only cost me $40.

Forgive my ignorance, but looking at the image, is the excess material the blue material running down the backside?

The other dimensions are ok, I think. Thighs are a bit tight (but there's always a bit of stretch I think), but everything else seems fine.

Not as soft as my OJ Chinos, unfortunately.

Also: MS, not sure whether I'd have to pay shipping xlots, I assumed so, but we'll see.

Hober doesn't make knit ties. Because they are machine knitted, you can't really do 1 offs like they specialize in. The factory I use has one of the smaller minimums around, but it's still 8 per colour way. Many factories will only do about 20 per col min.

You don't deserve Rob's property.

Indeed, that is what I was referring to. If the thighs are tight though, I'd recommend the return and resize. You will have to pay for another round of shipping from epaulet, also.

Leather layers of the heel delaminating. Contact Meermin imo, or if you can't be bothered, see a cobbler, should be a relatively easy fix.

That's OK, I might grab something else as well to make it a bit more worth it.

Gents,

These arrived today.

They're from Robinson's Shoemakers in Northern Ireland.

It was a bit of a wait, as they had some production problems, but the final product is very good.
