your kind of right Michael, though I don't think that's what TBM is describing that happened. It's not a hard and fast rule though and most tailors are too lazy to do it, especially with cuffs. We did it a lot at FJ's, good way to have less break while still having some length at the back. It's generally only about 1cm difference.
Rewinding a sec. The slope in the cuff doesnt create the break, its to balance the drape so u dont get side bulge (lack of better words). I think TBMs is botch job haha Ive had so many in the past...
