first day of the grad program today which meant i finally had an opportunity to put an outfit together and go outside :)

your kind of right Michael, though I don't think that's what TBM is describing that happened. It's not a hard and fast rule though and most tailors are too lazy to do it, especially with cuffs. We did it a lot at FJ's, good way to have less break while still having some length at the back. It's generally only about 1cm difference.

DB, you've almost convinced me to take a trip to the Sunset Strip.

also good advice on cutting back on carbs and add 80 min cardio at least 4 sessions a week and get HR as high as you can achieve for at least 50 min of that and (sigh) cut out the booze

lolwut?

I do 60 minute cardio (walking, not running, I'm a man, not a machine). Most days (some more some less).

Avoid refined carbs (since carbs can't be withheld completely) - such as flours, rice, pasta, risotto, etc. Once a week go mental, the rest of the time stop it.

I find even with some refined sugar each day I can consistently lose weight by avoiding the carbs.

Don't skimp on the animal fats (but avoid processed plant fats such as canola and peanut oil). Cheese is great!

Just some advice I've received that works well for me.

Currently eating Oreos and drinking full cream milk. Will probably lose weight this week.

Not what I was talking about, MS. The width of the cuff itself is uneven. And stitches have gathered together causing puckering. The whole thing has been rushed over and frankly looks shit. I'll have to go back in and ask them to do it again properly.

Names. Save the rest of us from having the same experience... Although probably more important is how accommodating they are in rectifying the work.
