Thanks.  I do actually own some shoes that aren't black . . . but yes, the captoe fetish continues!

I also just grabbed some Epaulet trousers, so let's see how they work out compared to the OJ ones I have already.

Thanks Matt! I'll send it off tomorrow.

I am.. I quite like the first one, the Greenwood dark brown suede.

While I am posting, can anyone recommend a pair of brown suede oxfords?

I saw a pair of polo suede Belgraves in HB before they took them all down for their 50% sale, but wanted to explore other options too..

The antiquated brown and magnolias look awesome but I don't think ill risk it as the sizing just seems a bit over the place.

I was after the black wholecuts; but sadly no size 6.5 T_T

There are some interesting designs there... I quite like the navy monk straps - wait are they double monks? I don't think I've seen a pair that fastens via a buckle on both sides of the vamp before. Probably because the inside buckles would smash into each other when you walk... maybe not though.

Do we know who is making them for him? My money would be on the Italians given the look of the shoes and the RRP but perhaps someone who's bothered to research this might correct me.

Hoping to drop by Melb Herringbone and MJ Bale on Monday. Who's visited recently Any stock left on the CJ sydney loafers?

Have a look at LNL on RN there is pod cast where Phillip Adams speaks to author Mark Bowden the perspective is more from the White House and Seal Team 6. Her previous film the Hurt Locker was very insightful as well.

By the way how are the Barton Perrira spectacles?

Also the burgundy calf brogues are very tempting from the shoe snob blog.
