Watch lovers, I'm chasing a Nomos Tangente.

I can get it from europe for ~1300AUD + shipping and duties, or 2050USD directly from Nomos, otherwise there is only one reseller in Australia - 'Master Watchmaking' in Sydney. Has anybody ever used them before?

Do a search on the Forvm, there was a good thread with Vox and Manton giving their thoughts on how the blow should cover the collar entirely so a semi-spread collar was most appropriate, or something to that effect. Do be careful with bowties though, I've only ever seen Journeyman pull it off in person.

Regular point collar or button down. Nothing too spread/cutaway.

Thanks couldn't find the thread but will go for good ol' semi-spread; also better fused or unfused? As usually the collars of many bow tie wearers stand at attention a'la fused.

Score, that was a beautiful suit. Shame they no longer have it on their stocklist :(

I've worn the TCNY M-65 jacket quite a few times now and I have to say I'm really liking it. My wife actually made a very rare comment today that she prefers this to my other casual jacket - a cheap Harrington.

I like the number of pockets the M-65 has as well as how light it is - perfect for the cooler weather we've had. Great for carrying my compact cameras as well when I go out to shoot photos. I'm thinking about checking out some of the heavier ones out there at some point - possibly the military surplus stuff. I definitely wouldn't wear it over a suit but for weekend wear, this is perfect for me.

The more I wear it, the more I feel that lengthening the sleeves by half an inch was the way to go.

I was going to ask you about this. How heavy/light is it? I like the look of it, what have you been wearing it with so far?

Hi There Gerry

I must commend you on your TUMBLR site, you have taken some cracking pic's!  On the subject of photo's what compact camera's do you use? I'm in the market....  Looking at Canon G12, Fuji X100's etc.... My DSLR Nikon D7000, is great but often cumbersome to lug about...

Cheers

db
