GN, I hear you but think you goodyear welted shoe clad leg was being pulled. Actually think a person selling loafers (esp. one with your integrity) should be in a position to advise on the topic (even if they have/do not have tassels) as it might give the questioner as cheap good quality option - like your Churchs (trying to help you out here Gerry).

The Aus Members thread is a helpful place. That said, I think I might report CEP to the Consumer Watchdog...

And CEP, brainwashed as I am, I am loving the ties. Wore the Shantung maroon one to the Aus Thread Melbourne lunch and the Black Watch one yesterday with a pink Bologna striped P Johnson shirt - beautiful.

I don't think ACCC will be of any help to us Aussie battlers struggling to make ends meet. We need to take it up to the peoples courts of ACA and TT and if we make enough of a ruckus, we can take it all the way up to 60 Minutes about this rude dodgy menswear salesman!
