2 weeks off for me, not going too far with a 7 month pregnant wife, but might get a sneaky trip to the snowies in for a fish or a few days in batlow at my cousins farm.

At least 20.

Another Big 4 is the same.

Oil, 3 suits for the starter. If you have two, people remark "oh, he is wearing his other suit today".

Hey guys, got 2 sunspel polos - blue and a maroon. Not quite my thing. If anyone wants literally brand new ones for half the sale price just PM me (size S) and we'll sort it out.

5-6 weeks off for teachers :)

I hear that when you're promoted to partner all your leave (and leave of service etc) is reset to zero. So do people at that ED level run their leave into negative territory and get away with it when the partner promotion occurs? One of my contacts suggests she'll give this a go. Since they've enacted the forced 3 week leave provision again this year sounds like many are looking at creative ways.

Some people try and accumulate work in this last week, so they have an excuse to come back after 2 weeks and save another week of leave.

Hi guys, apologies if this has been mentioned earlier in the thread. My bro is in Melbourne and I'd like to get him a classic white shirt for xmas as he's notoriously scruffy. Which online shops do you recommend in oz? Hoping to spend c.$100-$120

Thanks, Tom

The curse of post modernism.

Anyone get to the Zegna sale on Tuesday?

Re the holidays in Canberra the APS will go off this Friday 21st and not come back till after the 27th January. The country will be left to tend to itself.

Isn't that the way it is during the rest of the year, too? wink.gif

i wouldn't go with CT - their cotton is paper thin and feels lifeless, like cardboard. you get what you pay for.

I've given Owen & James a shot. their white OCBD quality is very high and it's something you can wear time and time again. i'd expect same with their signature white shirt.

Yes, +1 for HC shirts. I don't own one. Have met Jason and seen his shirts in person, though, and they do look lovely. And importantly, the fit your price point smile.gif
