http://www.styleforum.net/content/type/61/id/485807/ - here is a photo of the above shirts in action. Oops, wrong company, that is a Luxire shirt.

Actually, those shirts above, are from http://store.apolisglobal.com/defend-tomorrow/defend-tomorrow-initiative-bangladesh/ the charity range. So a big proportion of the money on those shirts goes to charity. It is like when I donated to TBM's Movember cause, if you can recall? I wasn't giving him money because his Mo looked excellent and I thought he should keep the look, or there was something to gain, it was because it was going to a great cause. Hence, under normal circumstances, he doesn't have a mo.

It is like bagging out the pens you are given when you donate to Guide Dogs Australia.

I'm not quite sure what you're getting at here. Joke?

That even great companies can make dodgy products?

Luxire is an MTM company though...

I like the pants you bought, but not much of the other stuff on their site unfortunately - not to mention the sanctimonious marketing!

(Sorry for crotch shot.) Amazing as usual. These are the brown nailhead.

Very good! I'm waiting for a restock of the four season stuff before I can get a pair in my size.

Who bought that purple fabric, thinking it would look great in a shirt. A shirt was made from that fabric and that is how it turned out. They made an error in judgment in thinking that would be a 'great' looking fabric to buy.

That photo posted a few pages back of the dude in the MJ Bale tuxedo and slippers, I thought, looked terrible. The button stance was really high and his hips looked enormous. His slippers were completely unacceptable, unless he is having a black-tie even in his bedroom. I am not prepared to trash the MJ Bale name over it - some of their other suits are too good. I know you weren't  doing that with Apolis, it just felt like you were :). I am relieved you approve of the pants. You might not approve of them if you saw them IRL. They seem to have quite a high rise!

My Mo was excellent. Yes. Fact. Thank you.

Apolis, I think.

Is that Apolis as in Apolis Activism? They have some cool stuff. I think you can actually get it at Incu.

Anyone ever heard of an american SW&D label called Rogan? We used to stock it at Robby Ingham when I was there, similar but very awesome stuff, extremely well made.

Hey Toby,

What's your experience with the fit on HY trousers? Just after the general vibe.

Sounds like P Johnson Tailors is perfect for your needs; price and aesthetic wise.
Quite a few here use them.
Do a search and you'll be able to find a lot more info.

Thanks all - P Johnson looks the way to go.

Also that wiki site looks great. Have to agree on the Hugo Boss being fragile... I've have two here less than a year old and they are starting to wear on the pant pockets and around the jackets cuffs.

And for shirts - I used to purchase the slim fits from Herringbone before they went into administration/bailed out. Are they still worth the money?
