You really believe that? After refusing to bow to the inevitable for the best part of the year, Ricky suddenly had the scales fall from his eyes after a second Test flop, when one Test flop did not convince him. No way; there was def a tap on the shoulder there.
The guy should have bowed out and the end of the India tour last summer, covered with glory. But he's never had the class to recognise his own failings, and they were many. Like Matthew Hayden before him, Ricky was allowed to embarrass himself in public for far too long.
