haha it sounds kind of gay, but I'm starting to fear my own strength...

Edit: Squats are the bane of my wardrobe. 210kg squat = no hope in hell of wearing slim fits :(

I personally don't like Derbies very much, but they are more forgiving when it comes to sizing. Maybe go for the derby considering you have wide feet?

That's cooler than clothes, man. Any day of the week. At the end of the day, they're just clothes. Read that any way you like, they're just clothes. Enjoy the trip LachyZee! smile.gif

Elvish, I'm somewhat keen for the breakfast if you and or others are still interested.

Look forward to the next one.

+1. Thank you very much for WP1967 for hosting us at Tattersalls - it was great to meet up with other Brisbane SF members.

DB, I'm not sure if he's an SF member, but I think that his name was Ben and he used to also shine shoes at the Cloakroom one morning a week. He was a fan of the rather "tight and short" aesthetic preferred by the Cloakroom.

How about Tuesday or Wed for breakfast? I'll get a table.

elvish, breakfast on Tuesday sounds good - does that suit? What time would you prefer?

Aaaaagh - I know that people like to "peacock" at Pitti, but this look encapsulates ticks pretty much all the boxes concerning outrageous Pitti outfits - and encapsulates what I dislike about such outfits!

- Ostentatious, tightly fitted suit in outrageous colour - check.
- Ostentatious tie beloved of Pitti favourites like Lino Ieluzzi - check.
- Ostentatious handbag/manbag/document folder (in this case by Goyard - at least it's not LV) - check.
- Chain/leather strap/string hanging from lapel buttonhole going into breast pocket - check.
- Lit cigarette - check.

I'd be willing to bet that, if we could see his trousers, he'd be wearing them cut very narrow and very short, and he probably wouldn't be wearing socks, either.

It's amazing how different the style of gear I go for up on the slopes is to what I wear down here... makes me feel like a bit of a chameleon. Not that there is much choice in terms of snowboarding fashion...
