I thought it was quite interesting, and probably where the future of Herringbone might go. Remember that CR was once aiming at the upper market, but lost a shit tonn of money doing so, and had to go 'down market' to turn a profit. As FXH implied we, the decering and dapper gentlemen who care about such things as fit and soft shoulders are a niche in the market, and its not hard to imagine a company with a footprint like Herringbone might struggle to turn a profit servincig our tastes (especially when you read half the tight-ass comments posted in this thread).
I am starting to truely believe that our tastes and preferences in clothing and accessories can really only be supported in Australia by small niche retailers, like American Tailors in Melbourne, The Armory in Hong Kong or Cable Car Clotheries in San Francisco.
I think it would be fantastic to open and run a small niche store like the above, but you would have to be realistic about your expectations of growth and scale.
