Here are a couple of photos of yesterday's outfit:





Blue cotton jacket with waist patch pockets and welted breast pocket; old Uniqlo striped oxford cloth shirt with button-down collar; Kent Wang pocket square in green and brown checks; green knit tie; beige chino pants and vintage Florsheim longwings, with a Filson 256 briefcase off to one side in the standing shot.

Journeyman, I like it. What colour is the shirt - it looks blue in one shot and white in another. It looks like you borrowed my old camera to take your photoe 

 

Where's the tie from?

Gezz i reckon you and i dress the same or something... i like that tie also!

You are a man of incurably exquisite taste 

Gerry, thanks to the camera in my iPhone 3GS, the first photo is a bit underexposed, whilst the second is a bit overexposed! The shirt is just your typical "university stripe" blue-and-white Oxford shirt.

The tie is by Ascot, a German tie maker. They are available in some stores in Oz, from various places on the Internet (including Ben Silver in the US) and from Ascot's own website (although there aren't any knits listed there at present). They are fantastic ties and, in my opinion at least, are as good as Drake's at about half the price). I've got nine or ten, in assorted colours. They are wonderfully crunchy, with a nice, springy hand and they are decently wide, too.

Alright tone it down a little...!

No 6, chefs special? I missed a package today and will assume Aus post will be gentle with me.
