Shipping is not cheap, unfortunately, but Valmour in France sell flat, waxed shoelaces by Saphir, as well as pretty much every other Saphir product under the sun. Definitely worth getting some shoelaces if you are also ordering some polish, creme or Renovateur from Valmour.

Looks like A Fine Pair of Shoes have brown/black flat waxed laces as well... not sure what they will do for shipping, but they have some of the nicest customer service of all the online shoe vendors, so you could give them a try.

They have Saphir stuff as well... that's what reminded me.

Re: Boat shoes. I've got a navy pair and a green pair and I virtually live in them on weekends in summer. Even the good brands are affordable and they are a great casual shoe, particularly in something other than basic brown.

Yup. Noticed they had 2 different models. One with more narrow toe than the other. Wider ones were around $100 on sale and the other about $130 or so. Zara sells driving mocs too for about $120-$130 a pop which is fine since the sole will wear out on these kind of shoes before the uppers anyway.

Or you can just get a pair of Herring Monzas wich is always a safe bet.

we like other retailers are restricted as to the volume of orders that we can place, and we have unfortunately already used all of our allocation for September and have full waiting lists for October so we cannot now place this order with the factory until the beginning of November at the earliest.  Delivery could be up to 8 - 10 weeks thereafter depending on the factory stock situation and production schedules at that time which we cannot yet predict

The elusive C&J Hallam. I guess I'm going to try Meermin or Carmina as well.
