A plug for the Henry Carter stuff - bought a couple of ties a couple of weeks ago - very prompt delivery and the Navy Herringbone tie has quickly become a  favourite

Two thumbs up.

It's become everyone's favourite for this season. There is only 2 left by the way for anyone that is considering it.

Guido sighting! Passed him crossing over William Street on Little Collins. There was a glance in my direction so he probably recognised a PJohnson cut smile.gif Noticed him too late to see what he was wearing, will have to check his blog to find out lol.

Just received in the post one of the great Sartorial Rock'n'Roll records. Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones US Import complete with working zipper.

My Oak Bark Belt from the UK arrived as well, colour is somewhat lighter than I expected but it should age over time. Anyone know of a good saddlery store in either Sydney or Canberra? Need to pick up some saddle oil for the belt.

Try out at Horseland in Phillip. I have no idea really but my Mrs is a horse rider and she got some ridiculously priced saddle from there a few years back.

Luc longley! Haven't heard that name in a very long time. Haven't paid much attention to SF stuff lately, but reading about a certain book called Predictably Irrational and another book called Priceless reminded me about the lowballing occurring in SF as well as everyday SF occurrences .

American Tailors; I always pass that shop when going out to get dinner with friends; always looked smexy from the front door but thought it would have crazy prices.

So.....anyone have any general pricing from them (their website is dated) mainly looking at the Isaia shirts and then the shoes.

Thanks Guys

Anyone feel like doing some fit critique? From what i can see I clearly need longer sleeved dress shirts, but I'd mainly like thoughts on the jackets.

Front on pictures are best representations of colour. I realise the blue jacket is cut a little short. I'm happy with it for a summer jacket, however. I'll try and pick up a slightly longer jacket in the future.

Currently I can see that the sleeves need lengthening slightly on both, in addition to me getting some longer sleeved dress shirts. Both need a good press, as they are pretty fresh out of their shipping packaging. Any other suggestions?

there use to be a horse shop in artarmon too on the pac hwy.. dont know if its still there.

I reckon natural is best and let it grow a patina

otherwise you can use veg or olive oil as an alternative.
