Has anyone had experience with the MTM shirts by Oliver's Shirts on Miller St in North Sydney? Their sign says they start from about $160.
Any other MTM shirt places I should check out around the CBD/lower north shore/eastern suburbs? I know of the one on Level 2 of the Strand Arcade but not many others. I've heard of Nakhle too but he's a bit too far out for me.
Definitely looking towards the cheaper end, so any recommendations in that regard would be much appreciated.

Have never bought a shirt from them so can't comment about value / quality of fabric but after they measure you I know for a fact that they use a tailor that is across the road in Tower Square.
I asked the tailor once to create some working button holes on a jacket and the result was pretty ugly.. Another time I asked him if he could de-crease my jacket with a bit of steam and he did, but he also ironed my lapels flat...
Despite that I still think he's very reasonable at doing the basics.. taking in jackets, trousers, shirts

Gents, wondering what your thoughts are on rocking this Henry Carter tie: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show) With this suit: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show) I think the colours would work, but not so sure about mixing a wool tie with a cotton suit.
Id prefer something like jasons new plain 7fold silk ties or one of pjohnsons plain silk 7folds in a dark tone and perhaps a low buttoned cardigan instead of the v neck knit

If Friday night wasn't bad enough this game ruined my weekend entierly.
How ever i did meet up with Jason on sat morning and bought one of his new blue floral pocket squares which will add a dash of colour and style to my Monday meeting in the corridors of mediocrity which is Canberra.
I do know they are prob my best fitting and Nicest fabric shirts that I own. Will prob need to get a new white one though- red wine on e cuff hasn't come out and left an ugly black mark.
+1. Either a knit tie or, as Romp suggested, a grenadine or plain silk tie.
Speaking of knit ties, there's an Internet store called the Tie Bar that has ridiculously cheap, decently wide silk knit ties. I haven't tied them but, at those prices, I am very tempted.
