Also confused why sizes seem to start at medium and pants at 32. Way too big for me.
And anyone had a chance to have a look at Harrolds yet? 2k+ shoes and 1k+ shirts at the front are really stopping my entry.

Thats cool didnt know HB has P.Albizzati ties! Im a big fan.

The proportion of the jacket (shoulders, sleeves, length) all come into play here.

What's Suit Supply's return policy like? Can you order one in 40 and one in 42 and return the one that doesn't fit?

The return policy is great... They send u a prepaid return sticker... Just call the courier and they pick it up.

Only experience ive had is trying on my mates tux he bought. Was size 38. Im normally a size 40 .. Im 6ft, 82kg, 40inch chest, 34waist and his 38 was perfect across the shoulders but tight on my waist. Not sure what cut it was .. Black peak lapel tux.

I reckon a 42 is more your size

The McQ line is now stocked at Myer. It completely took me by surprise and it's completely out of place right next to Peter Werth and Brooksfield...
Still ridiculously priced and to make it more laughable is that they are all chained up to the rack.

bah

just lost a post with some thoughts /observations on actually being cool (not hot) vs looking/appearing summery/cool during hotter weather.

Myer Sydney city store slowly bringing few brands back to their store. I remember Myer used to stock AJ , d&g , just cavali and few other brands back in 2005--2006. Then they stopped stocking them. Anyway they never carried the mainline. Myer/Dj they all use chain for their expensive stuffs ....kinky !!!

Anyone had experience with Jess Wooten at http://www.custommadeshoes.net.au/ ?

Keen to get a bespoke pair of Suede wholecut Oxfords and after sending him an email
The price he indicated seem very reasonable.

Any other suggestion for bespoke shoes in Melbourne?

when a jacket is described as a size 40, you know what the 40 refers to right?

Ditto to that. I quite like the shape of their ties. Still decently wide at the knot for good dimple and length is a bit shorter which ended up being my perfect length.
