If those were 7.5, I'd fight you for them!

All the best with the upcoming nuptials. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

He means me....good to see that Gerry has weaned himself off shoes and onto shoe horns...

Actually think thebrownman can take some credit for getting GN onto photography instead of shoes and people should check out his Tumblr for some great photographs of Melbourne's sights and shapes - www.gezzaseyes.tumblr.com.

Met GN and Christian the other day. GN was wearing a P Johnson suit, boots, knit tie and PINK SOCKS. I was wearing a P Johnson suit, boots, wool tie and pink socks. Fortunately our colour and textures we quite different (GN - tan boots, indigo and myrtle berry coloured suit, brown tie me - suede chocolate brown boots, navy suit, purple tie) but we seemed to hit on a Melbourne winter uniform. Christian (green-oxfords12) was all in grey (50 shades?) with beautifully worn and polished tasselled loafers. He was talking about his experiences at Pitti and his upcoming shoe business - check out www.christiankimber.tumblr.com for details.

Also, this place on Chapel Street seems to be selling some decent menswear pieces - www.pieruccimelbourne.tumblr.com
Think the old company was sold off and new people have taken over but not sure.

I like how Gerry is very open and shares his new purchases, thoughts on clothes, etc. The honesty is very nice - you feel a part of his interest in men's clothing, design, etc.

Is anyone planning on going to the Herringbone VIP night this Thursday @ Collins Place?

They're taking 20% off all stock in store (not inc. C&J) and I'm selling a $399 store gift card for $299, effectively saving an interested party even more money on a suit/shirt/tie, etc.

I have said it before and I will say it again - Gerry Nelson, the Austrailan Members thread Mr Nice Guy.

You are leaving it a bit late to ask us what you should wear for the wedding. - Many of us are ready to help.

(and if the men should have matching pastel green satin ties with black suits..)

Yes, we have similar size feet and I fear one day a pair of shoes I am wearing may catch his eye and I will awake hours later in a alleyway shoeless with a sore head.

I don't think Jason (Charlie's Wardrobe) really needs any help on wedding attire. His cross-posts from WAYWRN show that he knows what's going on.

I went to a wedding on Saturday. The groom wore a pretty well-fitted light grey suit with skinny lapels, a skinny tie and skinny red braces--overall not that bad considering--but the groomsmen wore cardigans instead of suit coats and belts with their braces plain.gif
