Anyone know the difference (if any) between the Australian Brooks Bros shirts (as sold by Myer), and the US Brooks Bros shirts?

I've got an Au one, but wondering whether I should buy from the BB US website.

$50 US flat shipping fee?

Costs? I know the majority of BB shirts are now made in Malaysia, there are some OCBD shirts made in USA.

Myer sells Brooks Brothers shirts? I thought the brand at Myer was Boston Brothers.

Not sure how Wickenby works where tax havens won't provide them with information. So basically, if you tell Wickenby, you get put on their radar. And if you don't tell them, Wickenby won't know as long as you keep it low key.


The only Brooks Brother's item I've ever seen sold are their glasses frames. My mother has one and I was surprised when I saw the brand.

Are boston bros made by Rhodes and Beckett?

If they're not made by them, there's certainly a very strong link there. I got a couple of the BB shirts at the last R&B warehouse sale.

I did some research on the origin of R&B suits, and I'm about 70% certain they originate here:http://www.arafaholding.com/egypttailoring

Boston Brothers used to be the exact same thing as R&B up until a few years ago. Was great as the suits were the same (floating chest piece) for half the price. This has changed though as the BB suits are now fused, but the styling is similar to the R&B classic fit.

 

 

My Boston Brothers suits were bought at the R&B warehouse sale a year ago.

I've got shirts by both BB and RB and I can't tell the difference. Maybe the collar is slightly different, but only marginally.

It's really stupid how Rhodes and Beckett shirts only come with one type of collar....and one type of cuff....

I vehemently dislike french cuffs and full spread collars.

sigh, went to DJ's today in Perth to try use up a gift voucher. Was looking for a navy blue suit and they pretty much have 0 blue suits

Pretty sure R&B, Boston Brothers and Baubridge & Kay are now exactly the same thing.

B&K and R&B definitely are at least - EXACTLY the same shirts, just different labels. I believe R&B bought B&K some time ago.

i received a boston bros shirt as a gift a few years ago. the fabric quality was fantastic, nice and durable with essentially zero shrinkage. was one of my favorites. sadly it was 1/2inch too tight around the neck so i hand-me-down'ed it to my eldest brother
