Unfortunately Buffalo isn't the most beautiful place so it's hard to find such buildings....

I know the old asylum, as it's closed down, was kind of freaky while running next to. Seems like the perfect setting for a horror flick.

Visit Buffalo in the winter. Leave Buffalo forever.

There are a few nice examples of FLW homes (some early ones in particular) should your luck be so bad to find yourself in Buffalo with time on your hands...

I don't think I've ever heard "Buffalo" and "beautiful" in the same sentence.

Buffalo has more Frank Lloyd Wright buildings than any other city except Chicago, so there are more than a few examples. If modern architecture is more your taste, you could visit the brand-new Burchfield-Penney Art Center, which opened today. Into art deco? Extensive renovations are underway on the Central Terminal building.

If you were in Buffalo, I would think you fortunate to have enough time on your hands to see all these landmarks.

All you need is Blue Nun and acid. And a snow shovel.

And a solid football team, and a natural wonder in Niagara Falls, and is one of the best places to ride out the recession, according to Businessweek.

How is Buffalo one of the best places to ride out a recession?! It's been in a constant recession for decades.

According the article:
"...It also has a diverse employment base, which is less and less dependent on manufacturing. It is home to banks and other financial institutions. But it also has become a hub for debt collection"”a lucrative industry in this economic climate. Education and health care play a big part in the economy."
