When Yoox got those MMM, they had a full run of sizes for both black and brown. The prices were slightly lower than what Mr Porter had them originally for, not half as Yoox claims.

I'm pretty sure they retailed for somewhere between $800-1000, and yoox had them for a little over $500?

/\ Your'e right. They were originally $1100 at Mr. Porter: http://www.mrporter.com/product/303845

I recall seeing them cheaper elsewhere, like $800 ish.... can't recall where.

I remember I notified Reedo when Yoox had a full size run of those particular MMM's as he had been lusting for them for a long time (even in his sig). He didn't kop. Yoox had them for about $565 in both colors and a 10% code was available at the time.

Do you guys think MMM is worth 500+ at their current quality and MM not actually designing? I feel like MMM is awesome but not worth 500+ and believe me i LOVE the 5 zip jacket

heads up from northampton: http://www.pediwear.co.uk/barker/products/5280.php

as usual pediwear's product image is unflattering, but I like the tan waxy... pretty sure the actual item looks good. no other image exists online unfortunately

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a pair of black boots like the one Varvatos has:

http://www.johnvarvatos.com/fleetwood-lace-boot/d/5215C5125

But at $600 it's too expensive for me. Would you guys recommend me one that's cheaper?

My budget is roughly around $200-300. Leather or calfskin like above is fine.

Thank you!

^Looks good, but I'm always slightly wary of Barker. The Country collection, seems consistently well made with solid materials, other Barker's even from their higher grade ranges have been a mixed bag, some with pretty this leather on both soles and uppers.

Whats everyone's thought on To Boot New York 'Kilburn'? I like the style but they seem pricey at $400. Any alternative brown boots with a similar style under $400?

to boot is not worth $400, wait for sale on zappos

^  I have two pairs of To Boot Kilburns (b4 I found Aldens and AE's).  But I got them for a little over $200 on sale.  They are not bad at all.  The leather is very soft and supple but probably not durable like Aldens or equivalent.  They're more fashion-oriented boots.  Blake-stitched, I think.  For what they are intended to be, they're very nice.  But definitely not worth $400.  A good value at $200-250, I think.  The Marrone Kilburn looks very much like shell Ravello irl, imo.
