Not a huge fan. A little too military.

What do you guys think about these dries? Can they be worn with jeans casually or with trousers for work?

What's the general sentiment on Lad Musician shoes? 39,900 yen is kind of a lot but these are exactly what I'm looking for right now

Plain everyday black shoe (that's isn't extremely shiny) that no one would look twice at on the street. Something one would wear with a uniform. I guess "Goodyear welt" is a good thing?

I really am ready to cash out for some goddamn sensible grown man shoes

been looking for one myself. a black shoe for both swd and mc. i think this is quite a decent alternative.

With MMM side zips should I size them the same as I would the GATs? What online stores stock them?

Was considering those Lad over on blackbird but I can't help but think the quality may be worse than expected.

This hiking boot from Paraboot is one of their most popular bench made boots and a hard to find item. We now have a limited quantity, sizes 9 > 11 $525.00

My side-zips are a size down from my GATs. I'm a true 12 and have size 45 GATs and size 44 side-zips. My understanding is that it varies from model to model.

You can usually find a couple of pairs of MMM boots on Yoox, although it's a crap shoot as to which modes will show up. There's also the MMM e-boutique, I think Mr. Porter carries them, and probably a bunch of others (although that's all I can think of off the top of my head).

I have an odd question: I have a pair of shoes with some padding on the insole that digs into my foot in a weird way. It doesn't make them unwearable, but it gets uncomfortable after a while. Has anyone else experienced this?

- Is there a novel way of getting the padding to flatten out quickly at home?
- Should I take them to a cobbler and see if he can remove (and maybe replace) the padded part of the insole?
- Should I just suck it up, wear them, and hope that they flatten out on their own eventually?

Black. Sleeker than a work boot that can be worn with slacks. I kind of bought these on impulse when I was a student since they were on sale, but now that I earn a steady income, I'd like to get a new pair (preferably in my actual size, too).

What do you all think of these?  Antonio Maurizi Savona boots.  On sale at Amazon now.  Retail $615, on sale now for $422.  Still seems really high to me but they appear to be Goodyear storm-welted and the leather looks nice.  Maybe I'd pull the trigger at under $300 if it ever goes that low.

Those are on gilt from time to time.
For the price, why wouldn't you get a more known brand?
