Anyone heard of the brand Camper? This is the woodie boot. I like the look curious if it will hold up.

I've not seen that actual boot but generally Camper quality isn't stunning.

I kinda dig them. I wish they were a full height boot vs a chukka, but these do offer plenty of ankle coverage. I like them more than the Mr. Bs for ALDO that are available here (Although I still want the blues), for sure.

Where did you find these? Those are sexy as hell..can't find them anywhere online.

Camper makes some kind of funky cool casual shoes.

They are not traditionally constructed shoes or anything...and are instead glued together like all other sneakers. I ordered a pair once and the quality felt nice...better than other companies that make similar shoes...although they didn't fit me (and either didn't come in half sizes or they were out of stock) so I can't speak for long term quality.

Of course this boot looks a lot more traditionally constructed (with a separately attached sole, etc...not built like a sneaker) so it may suffer due to not being their standard sort of shoe. For $216 I would probably pass...but since that price is imported and includes duties and stuff...I wouldn't be surprised if those shoes were not a bad deal in their native market.

I have a pair of campers.  Leather is really nice, they're leather lined too.  Like he said, the sole is glued-on.  Probably worth it if you can get them for ~$150 or so.  They're comfortable.  Also, they run about a size big (I'm a 43 in CPs and the pair I have is a 41... though they're a bit tight.)

I'm on the lookout for a pair of black boots to go with my black leather jackets. I really like the look of the old Common Projects officer boots Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

. I could go for a pair of chelsea/ankle boots with side zip too.

I know John Vavartos has a pair that I really like, but haven't seen them for under 600+. which is too much for me. Do any of you guys have any suggestions? I was thinking about those Dayton service boots, but haven't been able to find a place to buy them. Any help is much appreciated.

I've seen those Varvatos boots in about 8 places for ~$420.  Check Barneys. Just be careful - sometimes Varvatos stuff looks great on the shelf and awful when you're actually wearing it.

Sizing advice on MOMA? http://www.yoox.com/item/YOOX/MOMA/dept/shoesmen/tskay/3FD17CD7/rr/1/cod10/44341272MC/sts/sr_shoesmen80

I just might be able to fit these if they run big. Also, any yoox coupons?
