Can someone recommend a brown boot with a slightly thicker toe box than the Dayton service boots? Budget is around $400 give or take. Something a little more rugged with a shape between these and the Daytons (can anyone ID these, they were posted somewhere in this thread before but I can't find it) and leather mid/soles:

these seem to be what you're looking for, but a little more than $400

Those were my boots. Deadstock Military issues... non brand name.

Those Hopes are nice, but no brown ones available. Alternatives to these Moto boots from Japan would be awesome. They have to be purchased in person plus I think they only make them up to a size 9.5 or something. They look a little more chunky and rugged than the Daytons but the shape still seems very similar. The shell cordovan ones are sweet.

How's the quality of Hope boots?

Anyone know anything about AllSaints shoes? Are they durable?

I like their distressed look as I want something to wear with jeans or jeans+blazer, but the price is pretty steep (all around $200+):

All Saints sucks. They're a fast fashion retailer like uniqlo, topman, etc.

+1 - if you're happy chucking them in 3-6months go ahead. The styling is decent the quality sucks. Personally I consider All Saints when the heavy discounts come along...

Only wish they would price themselves appropriately.. They have decent things but way way over priced!

I have own a pair of their boots, and even though I like the style and its quite warm, the quality isn't worth the $250. It was an impulse buy because my feet were freezing and I needed boots...

Just got these in:

I like them a lot, but they're way long. They also look darker in person (I'll post pics if anyone wants). I probably could have gone down to a 9.5 (10-10.5 usually), but they're sold out. I wish someone would just cut my head off and end this misery already.

Tried on the Wolverine 1000 Mile Wesley boot today:

I kinda dig them. I wish they were a full height boot vs a chukka, but these do offer plenty of ankle coverage. I like them more than the Mr. Bs for ALDO that are available here (Although I still want the blues), for sure.
