WW2 style ankle boots -- made by Corcoran in the USA based on the same specifications as service shoes used by the army back in the day. They are made on the munson last that is used for most service shoes in the military. They are really well built -- with a thick rubber half sole on the outside. The boots also have a bellows tongue (so slipping to one side, yay!) and are extremely well made. Think a much nicer version of the katahdin or iron ranger boots. The leather is chrome tanned, vegetable retanned calfskin in a very nice russet shade. They go great with tapered jeans or khakis.

I have these on sale in B&S.

Actually although guidi might have what one could call an unrefined shape, they look amazing when worn. I keep going back and forth between keeping mine and selling mine. Although, I agree that those MOMA boots look great.

^^Hmm, how's the sizing on Moma?

^So why sell? If they look good then keep them. Also, I always find it hard to judge what a boot will look like on just by seeing it in a picture. Guidis kinda look like lumpy messes off the foot in most pics, but on they look great.

Id recommend going a full size down, especially if you have narrow feet.

Because I need the money for something that came up. Also, I agree with needing to see them being worn. There were these great NDC boots that I wanted to pick up a while back. Shape looked really good and everything, until I tried them on. I looked like I was wearing pointy elf shoes. Passed on them immediately.

Ever since Shah posted those pics from Boris Bidjan Saberi, I've been kind of obsessed with the guy's boots. Not even close to my price range, but they're pretty cool.

Fuck, not what I wanted to hear:). Now it's either I grab the pair of moma's available now or try and snipe what I really want on ebay. 1st world problems.

yo, im new to the whole boot thing, ive always worn sneakers. but i really like the look of some side zips and was wondering if they take anything to pull off? to wear properly?

i really want to get some, its just at my cegep it seems pretty much everyone wears sneakers, and idk how much i would stand out from them.
edit: actually... i do see some people that dress more fancily.. guess it wouldnt be too weird.

what are some good brands too? im guessing mmm is one of the best
