Just bought a pair of Grenson Sharp boots as my first pair of wingtip boots. They have not arrived yet, but should I save up for a pair of Trickers instead?

Sorry for barging in... Never have posted here, long time SF member though... Very random pics... Hope you enjoy...

L->R: Grenson boots (actually my first purchase on SF three years ago!); Antonio Maurizi Oxfords; Oakstreet Bootmaker Oxfords

Focusing on my Grenson boots though. Treated them with Obenauf's heavy duty leather polish this summer. Other than that, I just use a brush to dust 'm off...

nice boots. solid brand. you won't be disappointed.

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere, but do MMM boots fit larger than the replica GATs? I'm a 45 in CP, but sz 45 MMM GATs are a bit too small, what are the chances that a sz 45 side zip boot would fit?

Shit, never really gave these a gander. Might pick up some Momas for cheap beater boots to go with my first leather jacket (whenever I get one).

They're edgy, but still refined enough. I like em

edit: is Yoox basically the best place to shop for these?

These are boss, way better shape than any Guidi or Carps I've seen:

They've had the best prices I've seen so far. The only problem is, I usually only see one size per pair of boots listed at a time.

And I actually ordered the ones I posted: http://www.yoox.com/item.asp?tskay=3FD17CD7&cod10=44323654UR&sts=help80

but they accidentally shipped these in brown:
