Can anyone ID those shoes?

They're actually Crockett & Jones. He was pictured inside the September 2011 issue of Esquire Magazine UK wearing them. (I own the issue) They named the designer for everything he was wearing. He's wearing the exact same outfit in the magazine that he's wearing in this photo. In fact this photo may have been taken as he was going to/ leaving the shoot.

They appear to be an older model called the Crockett & Jones field boot...as they don't currently appear on their website.

Meh. I decided to buy the rare Japan market boot. At least I can say it wasn't in a catalog here:

So I'm a sucker for fashion. If its rare, I must get it. No surprise, it was sold out after I bought the last boots in my size. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they still have it in a warehouse somewhere in country!

Would taking 1/4 inch off a pair of cuban heels completely fuck with the geometry? If not, how much can I expect a cobbler to charge?

Why you gotta mess with the Cubanos tho?

When one is talking about $300+ footwear, for the sake of Heaven, don't mess with it!

Rockin' my Tony Llamas on the way to a charity shoot today.  Did a new polish and oiling Thursday.
