I want to get a pair of Thorogood Moc Toe boots. Do work boots usually run a little large compared to sneakers? My only boot experience is with Clark's and I have them sized 1/2 down. Wondering if I should go with my usual sneaker size or if I should size down 1/2.

You have to size down full size from your converse chuck, if you have one..

In my experience, the Thorogood Moc Toe's run the same size as Clark's Desert Boots (1/2 size down from most sneakers).

An excellent option, but one at the upper bound of your price range. I've got pair coming that I ordered a few weeks ago -- customized the s**t out of them. Total bill came out to a little over 500 clams.

By popular demand, a couple more pictures of the Rowland Brothers boots:

And some Boemos boots I got from Winners today for $30. Made in Italy. http://www.boemos.it/

I got these LL Bean Signature Crepe Sole Moc boots in navy.

I actually would be happy if there was no reasons, snow/heavy rains/blizzards/toxic grey&green&black NYC snowslush, to use these for the rest of the year.

i wouldn't wear those out in the slow or slush or rain in nyc, you'll fall on your ass if you step onto any smooth, wet surface

Are Boemos a known brand? I've seen them at my local stylesense for under a $100, but I've never heard of them, or know about their quality outside of the fact they are made in Italy.
