Found this F+B shoes, it's hard to see in the pics but it is actually distressed navy suede. It's awesome in real life, I'm mad because I missed out on getting it with the 30% off at Bloomingdales a week or so ago.

Here are the boots/shoes I wear most of the time, minus a pair of NB running shoes, a pair of black Finn-Comfort shoes I teach in sometimes, some Baffin snow boots, etc...
Blake rapid is arguably stronger then machine made welting i.e Goodyear, for what it counts, as the weltstrip strip in blake rapid is leather rather then linen.
Also Alden does have some construction issues, they don't bartack or reinforce on bluchers when the laceing wing attaches to the vamp.
I need some Ricards and York boots (both black leather) in my life. Will kop FW10.
Ricards are a staple, always in black and brown and occasionally in different colors as well (iirc they've done a red and the cordo)
They've done grey calf and a few shades of suede too. See gravity pope for the grey and suede.
I think they did a green calf a while ago but I could be halucinating.
