Summer Heights High - Page 2

for those of you who enjoy the show, another great one by chris lilley is called 'we can be heroes'. This was where Ja'mie first appeared and is a fictional search for the australian of the year, with lilley again playing i think 5 different characters. the highlight for me is the "jonah-esque" country twins who are undergoing an eardrum transplant. hilarious!

I love this show. I laughed my ass off when Mr. G explained how he use to rythmically scream muuuuum unlike all the other monotone kids.

I'm following it on HBO and missed the last couple of weeks. They're working on the musical last time I saw it. I love Jonah Hakkaluah. Last week my chick was PMS'ing and I asked her; Are you on your period miss? With that Pacific Islander accent. She didn't get it but I was laughing for a while.

The finale of Summer Heights High is probably the funniest thing that I've seen this year. The musical's opening night is epic.

This ABC series is pretty good, yes. I can't wait for the high production value US remake that entirely lacks the cultural context to make the jokes work (*cough* Kath & Kim *cough*)

Also : Scandal

I have to put the TV on mute when J'Aime (or however you spell it) comes on. I just dont find it funny at all. Mr. G has grown on me with his original scores such as "Shes a naughty girl with a bad habit, a bad habit for drugs..." Jonah is classic.

J'Aime is actually very funny...a dead-on 21st century teenage brat

j'aime is a hell of a lot funnier in the "we can be heroes" series. i'd highly recommend it, as it is far far funnier. jonah is pretty damn good though
