RRL Store on Melrose - Page 2

I went in Friday to just check it out (also found and browsed through the Paul Smith store).

Ended up leaving with a pair of low-slim.

Damn them.

Great jeans, though.

so they actually have a stock of RRL slim fits?
Yes.

Oh, I read my tag wrong. I've got "Low Straight", but it fits pretty slim for me (I'm used to Levi's 514 and it fits slimmer than that).

But I do remember slims. Try calling the store, they'll tell you for certain.

Damn, I wish I saw this thread before I left LA. I definitely have to pay them a visit during spring break!

I wonder how much they spent making that look like any number of abandoned gas stations they could have bought on some other street.

Right, because there are loads of abandoned gas stations in LA, let alone on Melrose in the middle of WeHo.

Thanks for the post. I love what RRL is doing with their retail spaces, displays and products. I reminds me of the pages of Free & Easy. Great stuff!

I've bought RRL shirts on ebay and on the B&S forum, and they fit amazingly well, both in the "regular" and the "slim" variations. I had to hem them a couple of inches each, but they are as close to perfect as RTW casual shirts get for guys who are in good shape.

I suppose what I should have said was, if they were anywhere but LA and on melrose that aesthetic would have come much cheaper as they probably could have just set some tables in something that actually once served as a service station.

PG2G passed the phone to some random guy in the bar and we just gave him a cue card with what to say. How was Glendale? Spend lots of $$$ at Kitson or what?

Hahaha. Called it. I'm going to call up the manager and have security tapes pulled from that night so we can finally catch a glimpse of Nessie.
