Tokyo Slim will recommend a movie 4 U!

Tell me how you feel, and I'll tell you what to watch! Simple and easy. Now, what you say MAY OR MAY NOT have any affect on my recommendation, but it couldn't hurt to let me know what frame of mind or emotion you are in. I am not promising any life-changing cinematical experiences, and the movie I might recommend, you might have already seen, just bear with me. Also, I might just be messing with you. Conne for instance, will likely never get a straight answer from me in this thread. Harold And Maude, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome Conne, start there and come back when you finish those. Also, if you need a movie for a specific purpose, to analyze for a paper, or to cite examples of behavior in media, or whatever - I will come up with one 4U!

I'm moved by Vermeer's paintings.
I just watched a show on Lee Atwater, Rove, Bush.
Choosing between tits or ass, I choose tits.
I like licorice.
I like summer over fall.
I once painted my bedroom black.

Hmm...

This is sort of a hard one right off the bat!

The obvious choice would be Girl With a Pearl Earring. Both the Vermeer reference and Scarlett Johansson's rack. BUT it's so obvious I feel compelled to come up with something more existential.

I put all those things together in my mind, to try and come up with a movie that I think you will enjoy, but is not directly related to anything you said. It's hard not knowing certain things - like WHY you painted your bedroom black, and what your stance on Winter and Spring are in comparison?

?

well - anyways - with the ?information? given, I am going to recommend that you see the Japanese movie Kamikaze Girls. I believe you will enjoy it, but I'm not sure exactly why.

Not to be confused with Suicide Girls? where they jump in front of the trains?
I've seen that, but I'll look up your suggestion!
Thanks.

Thanks.

I believe you are talking about Suicide Club/Suicide Circle. Which took an interesting premise, and screwed it up for the sake of being weird. No relation to the movie I recommended you.

Choosing between tits or ass, I too choose tits.
And I am glad it snows once maybe twice a year where I live or I would probably move farther south

Stressed out graduate student living far from home. Assignments are due this week, and I need to start work on a track paper during the winter break so I can get my masters by spring. I'm also stressed out about finding a job while the economy is tanking.

I either need something to destress, or something cathartic.

Watch Zoo: A Zed and Two Noughts. It is largely a celebration of Vermeer, has 'tits', has incredible shots of interiors (largely based upon Vermeer's paintings) and has quite a few summery scenes. I can't recall any licorice, but there are zebras, which is half the way there.

Sorry for briefly stealing your role, OP.
