Appear to be a pair of Mykitas (from the hinge detail on the temple), although not from the current collection (going by the website).

Thanks!

Did a little searching and they look like the Mykita Carlos.

No longer made, but maybe a pair will turn up somewhere.

I noticed that Natural Gray lenses have a darker stripe in the center of the lenses and lighter strip on the top and bottom lenses. Refer to the picture below. I wanted to know if I was outside in direct sunlight or under a shade,  or under the shade, would people that pass by me  be to see my eyes through my sunglasses ?

That's actually a bigradient mirror, so the lens is darker at the top and bottom than the middle. Whether people can see your eyes would depend a lot on the fit of the sunglasses to your face and where the sun is in the sky; if sunlight is getting through the gap between your face and the frame to light up your face, then people can see your eyes.

Surprised to see the Mykita Carlos is gone, they still had that frame up until the last season. I thought it was a really well-proportioned frame that they would keep around forever, like the Herbie. Mine is one of my favorite sunglasses. In any case, I'm sure there's a lot of deadstock still lying around for anyone who wants one.

I just received a pair of Oliver Peoples Sheldrake BECR. Exactly like these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oliver-Peoples-Sheldrake-BECR-Sunglasses-with-Green-C-Vintage-Glass-NEW-/221430341682?nma=true&si=onVFpFfEQlNX2G5ObQ3Qp1ScW1I%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I like them. However I have been getting some comments that they look a bit too small for my head size. Photos are shot with a front camera so you really can't see the depth. But from these images, what would you people say?

They were fairly expensive and I'm eligible for a refund, if I wish.

I like 'em. MAYBE the nose bridge is a bid too big but that is a personal preference. I'd say keep them!

Thanks for the reply!

This last shows clearly how the glasses look from an other persons point of view. I thought about the feedback, I definitely think they look awesome, though a little narrow for my face maybe?

nah, this pic shows (for me) that they fit perfect.

smaller lens looks even smaller with the clear frame. its a tough one to pull off but I think they look great.

I'm trying to decide between these two. Which do you prefer and why? The first is a pair of RETROSUPERFUTURE Flat Top sunglasses. The second is a pair of Ray-Ban Justin sunglasses; they're less known and less iconic than the classic Wayfarer model since they're relatively newer to the market.

not a fan of the RSFs, too squared off at the temple hinge, looks douche-y IMHO. i have a big head so I looked at a few wayfarer shapes. ended up with the oakley holbrook since theyre big enough but have a bit of wrap to the shape and a friend was able to hook me up

Depends on if they fit your face and the size of the flat tops..

I'd go with the Retrosuperfutures.

1. I don't like external branding on my sunglasses.

2. The injection-molded plastic on Ray-Bans shatters if bent. RSF says they use real acetate, like on the higher end sunglasses.

3. Zeiss lenses are very good. Ray-Ban and Oakley lenses are nothing special, although I do like glass lenses when I can get them (which I believe the RB's have).

Also, if you are getting something with a pattern or color, the RB frames are coated with a finish instead of being that color all the way through. Over time the color on RB's can degrade and rub off.
