What is the best way to adjust acetate sunglasses? The arms of the Super sunglasses are too narrow and pinch my head giving me a slight headache. Should I just take them into a sunglasses store and have them adjust or can I do it easily?

Depending on the frames most good shops have a little machine that heats them up a bit to make them more pliable. Usually they will just do it for you if you ask nicely. Or you can DIY with a hairdryer and adjust them until they feel comfortable.

I just adjusted my Sama's 2 days ago with a pair of needle nose pliers! They are titanium however. biggrin.gif

If you need to spread the temples, rather than distorting the frame, you can file a little off the front of the arms where they abut the front of the frame. This needs to be done carefully so as not to damage the finish, or spread the arms too wide. A good optical outlet can do this for you.

What are the general thoughts on Shwood glasses? Handled some in a shop today and liked them though I'm no expert on sunglasses at all. I do like the wooden frames

Anyone have a recommendation for an online retailer selling Persol 714 SM's? Particularly tortoise/blue, polarized. Under MSRP would be great, but anything I can order without tax to California would be a big savings over Sunglass Hut... Thanks!

Just got some Persol PO2994S's in the mail on Saturday. I think in general they look reasonable, but might be a bit on the large side. Any thoughts? They're a size 52, which the smallest they run.

Does anyone know any good logo lens sunglasses from the likes of Rayban or Persol like this?

I think both don't fit your face...you have a oval-shaped face. maybe you take a picture through a mirror instead of a selfie, because the wide lens of your camera is distorting your face.

read through those buying guides to buy the perfect glasses for your face.

sorry that i may sound mean, but not every shade fits every face.
