I couldn't wear any of the WPs, too small for my cantaloupe head, fiancé had to send back the first pair as the temples weren't aligned, they started building the replacement pair as soon as I emailed them, so at least the customer service has been on point. Anyone know some good pairs for big heads? I wear OP Pharells(sp?) and have liked a couple larger persols but don't know if I love the really round lens shape

I too have a giant Irish head (poor mother). Kaenons are usually built for larger noggins.

I can't get the picture to upload for the life of me, but I walked by my assistants desk and she was ooing and ahhhing to a picture of Ryan Gosling on one of those gossip magazine web sites, sadly I was oooing and ahhhing over the light brown tortoise sunglasses he was wearing... Somebody please identify these things.

Thanks for the info... They kind of looked like the A.P.C. x LGR shades from a distance but I'm blind as a bat. Good eye.

On another note, does anybody know if SUPER ships internationally? The web site is a little vague and doesn't leave much contact info.

Debating whether to spend $400 on Persol 714s. I like the style and the lenses (polarized and gradient) seem really nice opticaly; in particular, for me, polarization is a must.

Do photo chromatic and/or gradient lenses make an appreciable difference? Or, is it just marketing?

Other than Persol, who makes quality lenses (polarized, at least) that are stylish and not $400? I really do like the Persol styling, not just another pair of aviators walking down the street, but before I commit wondering what else is out there. Optical quality is really important to me, in additoin to the style. I already have a pair of Maui Jim's, which a lot of people seem to recommend for optics.

msg, try ebay. I bought a pair of Persol 649s from seller louthbird, and they were well below retail and appear genuine. Otticanet is a good seller, too.

Anybody have any opinions on the quality of RetroSuperFuture sunglasses? Thinking of buying a pair of "People" sunglasses and just wanted to get some feedback.

Two consecutive pairs of my girls warby Parkers have been bent out of shape, just bad material or something so whe there customer service has been great, I have doubts about the quality.

I just ordered some rayban 4147s and Mosley tribes (both fit my big head) in tortoise with brown polarized lens from zappos to try on, free back and forth shipping but both are available on eBay for probably 20% off zappos prices

Overstock.com has Havana 714s with brown polarized lenses for $279. They have them with green lenses too, but those are described as mens but listed in the womens section? Also doesn't say those are polarized. Or try Amazon.

Yeah, I saw that. Tempted. Unfortunately, I seem really attached to the Blue lenses.
