Patrica Arquette was so hot in that movie. The scend between Christian Slater and Gary Oldman before they fight is classic dialogue..

In the original screenplay, there was a scene where Oldman and Paul Bates pull up to an apartment building to do a hit.

As they are sitting in the car, Oldman rips a page from a porno mag of a close up of a womans pussy and spreads some pot on it. then he sprinkles a little pcp on top, rolls it up and they smoke it. then they go in to do the hit.

This is my favorite Tony Scott film. It was also Tarantino's first (and possibly best) script. This scene always cracked me up: (Brad Pitt as Floyd) "Hey! Get some beer and some...cleaning products!" The delivery is perfect.

Tarantino has sold Natural Born Killers for $10,000, partially to concentrate more on Reservoir Dogs, and partially because he tried to make NBK and couldn't get it done at the time. Tony Scott had read the two scripts that had been passed around hollywood , and got ahold of Tarantino to see whether he could get both of them. By the time they got together to discuss the scripts though, Tarantino had already managed to finagle himself into the directors chair for RD. So Tony Scott bought the available script in TR and Tarantino had a good year.

Reservoir Dogs is more quintessential Quentin and is usually favored by Tarantino fans. The sweetness evident in True Romance (in which I feel Scott played no small role) gives the characteristic hipness a bit more sincerity I feel.

What a sick coincidence of cosmic proportions. Watched this movie last night for the first time, and I can already tell that it's my favorite by Tarantino.
