What do you think of Gianfranco Ferre?

Trying to find a decent navy blazer, and although I would prefer DB, I found this blazer on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5365027952 What do you think? Is Ferre any good? Should I not waste my time, and instead wait for a decent DB to pop up? Thanks.

I'm not positive about this, but i THINK GFF Studio is a diffusion line. Lower quality than straight up GFF. Even the tag looks cheap. I would imagine that the coat is fused, if that matters to you. But, it's also significantly less than what a Banana Republic coat retails for, so that that for what it's worth. Dan

Fashiony, not really what you are looking for. More importantly, ugly. Also, fused like a busted motherboard. Did you get my PM? Seriously consider the offer. Will hook you up right, Really.

I got your PM, but I do not have time to fly to Boston for a fashion consulting. I generally work almost every day of the week, if not on my primary job, than in some way involved with one of my projects. I did appreciate the offer though.

Spot on Dan, the Studio line has more in common with BR than anything else. I bought a "Studio" shirt thinking I was getting "real" Ferre, bad mistake. A.
