What am I going to do there for a week in June?

Visit the resting place of Christopher Columbus, amber mines, nude beaches, etc.

1) Go to Punta Cana, La Romana, Sosua for the best beaches.... 2) Santo Domingo for the best night life.... 3) Go sight seeing---- Go to the Christopher Columbus resting place in an area called El Colonial which also has a nice nightlife.... 4) Invest in some properties, DR is one of best places in the world to invest in real estate. 5) Meet beautiful women 6) Go to an all inclusive resort 7) Enjoy the finest cigars! Did I miss anything?

I was there for about a week on the Atlantic side (Puerto Plata I think). It was pretty nice...great weather, very nice beaches. Not much to do but drink and enjoy the sun.

When i went there no one spoke english, so it sucked maybe it was just my resort though.

1) you're going to not leave your resort besides the from and to the airport trips.
2) cancel your trip and go to rivera maya instead.
3) wear sun screen.
