Barbour cashmere

Has anyone tried cashmere sweaters sold under the Barbour label? They're made in Scotland but how good are they? Do we know who makes them for Barbour?

I've had two v-neck Barbour sweaters for a couple of years now. Heavier than I like but have held up well.

I just bought a Barbour cashmere scarf from STP for $33. Very nice. Far nicer than Altea and a bit nicer than the Morgan & Oates that STP also sells.

STP is pretty customer friendly. It might be worth an email or call. Can't hurt.

I know the STP Barbour shetlands (as opposed to the cashmere) are a big hit at the Trad forum, but my delicate self prefers lambswool and cashmere. One would think that Barbour stuff would be a bit more rugged, if cashmere can ever be so.
