Thanks for the help so far from everyone. Since I am not looking to get a 2009 model leasing is out of the picture( like some one suggested) since there are no second leases for the vechile and the car comes out to around 100,000$ after taxes so buying a 2 year old certefied pre owned will save me about 35,000$. I am just worried about the reliability I am getting many mixes reviews and I dont know what to do. I dont want to get a car that I will constantly be taking to the dealership.

I like the G55, but it's a very heavy vehicle.

Look in Hemmings...occasionally older ones from the 80's or 90's pop up on ebay. The two in the picture I posted are sitting on unimog axles I think..

Mercedes are very tempermental. I don't lease, therefore reliability is always an issue for me. I have had several MB's, and they have all had their fair share of hiccups.. My SUV of choice right now is a Lincoln Navigator..I had a 2004, now I have a 2007..it's comfortable and very reliable. I log about 25-30k miles a year. I know the Escalades are very trendy and what not, this would be my second choice but I'm not a rapper. I just think American trucks are as reliable as it gets...I know I'm going to get torched here in about a second. My cars, however, are all German.
