Great research vent into this movie. Very well made and actually engaging plot. It does look often like watching the coolest video game you have ever seen, but it did touch me emotionally (to my great surprise).
Very impressive movie and story. Weather you become a fan of the movie or not ; it is definitely worth watching , at least once.

just saw it on dvd last night. it was ok.

the graphics and panorama of the film was awesome.

but the story was too trite and the actual second half of the movie was *yawn
especially when they were doing the whole ewok shaman thing holding hands kumbaya and all the yelling and crying that the woman alien was doing it got a bit irritating. the character aliens werent developed enough for me to care when their home got destroyed or when their father died. i was like ho hum.

oh yeah, there were some nice awesome scenes. when he became known as the orange bird guy (forgot their term for him) i thought that was grand. sort of.

also when they were going with him to hunt down his bird to keep. that was a cool scene

I had the urge to shout out "OH SNAP BITCHES" in the theater when he flew in on that thing.
