Does it have brass buttons? If not, it's a sportcoat then, right? Dan

No buttons, you would have to supply your own - if I were to buy it, I would definitely use dark buttons, not brass. I added it to my watch list but I'm afraid it might be too small in the chest.

He does state there are no sleeve buttons. Maybe there aren't any at all?

That seller have several nice, well-priced Borrelli blazers.

Straight from the Filene's Basement collection of pants-less suit jackets. That being said, it still might not be a bad purchase for 42Ls (like me).

Nope, those are true sportcoats. They ain't orphans.

If that's the case, then why does the tag have a drop number on it?

That's not uncommon - to my knowledge it may refer to the cut. For example a drop 8 jacket will be cut closer to the waist than a drop 6. The Belvest jacket (not part of a suit) I picked up the other day has a drop number on the tag.

J's correct... that whole wide lat vee shape is grat in a bathing suit, sucks when getting fitted for a suit. Option A is bespoke, option B is way too much fabric around my waist.
