I doubt you are Westminster educated, and have a girlfriend who has attended finishing school - so to comment on Gentlemenlyness seems odd to me.
You little punk bitch. Fly over here, and I'll take you to South Boston, and you can recite your interesting anecdotes at a local bar there. That's the teaser. Then we'll fly out to L.A., and Brian and I'll take you to a good club, then to an afterhours in Inglewood, and you can charm the locals there with your humourous stories. If you come out of it alive, you'll be less apt to let shit come out both ends. Trust me on that one.
LA Guy, what was the point of this post? LA is not so violent as people make it out to be. I lived in LA for a long time, and had no problems. Well, I take that back, I had some stomach problems because there was this great barbeque place which I loved, and ate at frequently, and it always gave me heartburn and indigestion. But it was SO good I'd eat there all the time. I really have to find that place again. Anyway... why go off on some kid like that? Even if he is full of sh*t, which he may or may not be, what is the point of saying that he'd get hurt in Los Angeles or Boston? That is just silly. And what afterhours club in Inglewood are you referring to?

I think this thread should be deleted. It's very strange.

I hope I am not one of the people who is not who he is alluding to be. Unless you got the impression that I am trying to sound like a connoisseur of homeless people, in which case I sadly admit that I am not. Manton, don't get all hatey on the Berkeley homeless. At least they're straightforward. They need money for weed and they're not afraid to tell you. San Diego homeless will politely inform you that they were just released from jail, and they need your spare change. A different edge, but effective none the less. I've never had any conversational encounters with LA panhandlers but I am sure they have discovered their own regional ways acquiring change. Anyone recall a thread in which a very pasty, slender Lakshmi Mittal posted a picture of his wrist with a gold Cartier Tank on it? Linux, no one's saying LA is a violent place, but walk into any cool** club with an attitude like our resident upper class brat Styleman is going to get a little roughed up. **and by cool, I mean not yuppie (dress code thread, Mike C.? LA Guy? anyone?)
