Most people seem unable to comprehend how bizarre this situation is, and how unique it is to white people. It's highly unlikely that this sort of largess will be reciprocated. I'll probably be the bad guy for pointing this out.

You got this from who Daniel Craig would like to see in a movie?

this is disturbing and elitist. you're probably not a bad guy...just a dumb one. imo craig was just speaking on the need for diversity w/in the bond series...not handing over some right of passage to someone not worthy of such an important thing like the lead in an action movie.

Why do you call Barack Obama black? His father is black and his mother is white. Please explain.

Maybe because that is what Barack calls himself.

Not sure that race was indicated. Then again, since M has been made a woman, well-executed by Judi Dench, why not? Daniel Craig was asked who would make a better Bond in the Parade article, McCain or Obama. He also indicated that McCain is a better M.

I'd love to see what would occur if he claimed to be white. How would that go over? After he emerged from the sanatorium, post-electro-shock treatment, we could ask him then. I think we've had a few conversations about the attribution of race.

In this country (U.S.), mulattoes are considered black. The Media fuels it as much as the mulattoes themselves. They know that White society will never truly accept them so they think identifying solely as Black will give them some form of purpose in life. It worked for Obama, Halle Berry, Alicia Keys and slew of others.

It was white society that long ago decided to classify them as black. You'll have to find another target for your outrage.

Perhaps this has something to do with the 'unique' position of 'white people' in the western world?

Maybe?

The tradition in western civilization has been that any degree of 'foreign'/'colored'/Jewish/Rom/etc. blood made one a member of that group.

Argue all you want that it ain't right, and obviously the damn dirty liberals are the real racists (where's the eye-roll?) now - but that's how it works.
